DEADSILENCE ARE NOT SPLITTING UP!!

Contrary to the latest 'urban myth' Deadsilence have not split up!, Nor are we likely to, there's far too much at stake for us to make a rash decision like that. And, its far too much fun!

Although there has been babies arriving left right and centre amongst the band, and the Dexorcist has temporarily left the band to go on a well deserved 'year long break' around the globe, (All that partying and doing absolutely nothing at all wore him out, the poor little chap.) WE ARE NOT SPLITTING UP!

On the contrary, the Album is very close to completion, Radioactive man AKA Keith Tenniswood AKA The One Lone Swordsman is nearing the end of the final mixdown, which has been dogged by all sorts of problems, technical and other since he began, but, he has soldiered on, to his total credit, and there seems to be light at the end of the proverbial tunnel! we're looking at a release date of around July 2012... oops, I mean 2008 :-) so watch this space, its gonna be well worth the wait, packed full of some old favs and new rippers, all recorded totally live by Mr Tenniswood, as well as lots of bits and bobs inbetween... FINALLY!

We are playing GLASTONBURY, so far we're booked on the Shangra-LA area and Trash City stage, dates to follow...
We're gonna have lots of new material to blast at your little eardrums, so look out. There you have it, we hope that this clears things up... we're still taking bookings, we're just being a bit more picky, only for the right reasons though...

Dexorcist loses leg in rickshaw police brutality shock!

Simon Brown (aka the Dexorcist) has been holed up in hospital for weeks now after a daring dawn stag party rickshaw stealing incident.
It all started after a JD & coke and a full english breakfast in a pub in Soho, the DS crew, out on the Reverends stag party, decided it was obviously a really good idea to take an unmanned rickshaw for a spin around the capital in the early hours.

After a good cruise around the west end, the lads got rumbled by the local rickshaw mafia, who, being the pussies they are decided to call the filth.. Mr Brown made a daring run for it , only to be brutally rugby tackled to the ground by an over zeolous special CUNTstable, thus breaking Simons poor little ankle into lots of small pieces!
The brave DJ was said to be in good spirits (mainly JD) and had this to say 'as soon as im out of this plaster, I'm gonna get that fatty who did this!'

Whats all this then... A new site?

Yes, it is, and its about bloody time too...
But this is merely a stand in untill we build our new flash site... hopefully that'll be sometime this century... it's gonna be an all singing, all dancing , all whistle blowing, musical and visual extravaganza!!...

MUDFEST 07 was, well, muddy to say the least... but our gigs were pretty bloody havin' it! Totally packed both nights... moshpit in full effect! And we were lucky enough to be in the mutoid waste fields, which, apart from the usual hippy fields was the only one resembling anything like the true spirit of glastonbury festival, as the rest of it is now just some big commercial fest, selling overpriced food and playing over payed, over dressed over rated pop bands...
